TOPTECH opened our original Billings transmission and auto repair service location in April of 1999 - after years of working for local car dealerships. We believed that with our automotive repair and service expertise we could provide better quality service and repair! Since our first day of operation we have offered Billing Montana's best base warranty coverage, our 2yr 24,000 mile warranty. This warrant covers both parts and labor for a full two years or 24,000 miles - which ever comes first! TOPTECH provides this coverage by installing premium componets and upon repair, ensuring that anything which could become an issue is brought to the customers attention.
Since opening in 1999 we have always been a one-stop auto repair and service shop, offering a plethora of car repair services. Everything from major engine overhauls, custom fabrication, welding, carburator overhauls, differentail repair (gear swaps, lockers,etc..), transfer case repair (modifications, reduction units, two speeds etc..), suspension repair, brake repair, tuneups, transmission repair, electronic diagnosis, electrical problems, minor collision repair, glass replacement, glass chip repair, custom and classic vehicle repair, custom lift kits, fabrication / modification of 4 wheel drive axles and suspensions, installation of safety devices (back up beepers, lamps etc...), Repair of throttle body bushings, everytype of vehicle flush (transmission, coolant, brake, steering, fuel injection etc...) if you can think it we most likely have done it!
TOPTECH has taken great pride in the abilities of our auto repair and service shop and have slowly expanded and become affiliated with organizations which have helped both our facility and our customers!
Becoming a Billings AAA Auto Repair Center was a great milestone. Our shop got a 100% rating from randomly picked customer invoices! Truth is we never were 100%, but when we had a problem with a customer or a vehicle it was how we took care of that problem and treated the customer that made the difference. So when AAA called our customers not one stated anything negative, even though we did not always have the car done on time, or the price was not the same as quoted or we did not have the vehicle washed and vacumed----it was how we communicated with the customer that made all the difference in the end! To TOPTECH that was awesome and something we are teaching each new mechanic and employee, communication, respect and honesty!
We became affiliated with NAPA about four years ago now, enabling us to give our customers a nationwide warranty coverage which protects our customers investment nationwide.
