Barb, I personally clean my Condenser and Radiator every summer--and yes your Husband can clean them! Cleaning with a mild soap and water and using a pressure washer on low wide spray pattern keeping a foot of clearance from the fins will clean the film which attaches to the units and inhibits them from exchanging heat efficiently! Be-careful not to spray a direct high pressure stream at the fins or they will deflect and bend over! Or you can use a garden hose with a spray attachment to rinse them clean!
